From R&D (hardware design – servers and storage), he went on to manage an independent practice for VLSI and hardware design, eventually becoming its global head for a 12-year stint and leading its growth into a $100 million-strong business. As VP - Semiconductor and Systems, he helped cultivate powerful ecosystem partnerships bringing together various stakeholders – semiconductor companies, manufacturing companies, IP providers etc. Years ago when demand for product engineering and mobility solutions was just picking up in emerging markets like India and China, Vasudevan had become deeply entrenched in the industry’s evolution – his association continues strong even now. He has been an Executive Council member in the India Electronics & Semiconductor Association. Vasudevan holds a Master of Technology (MTech) degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from IIT Kanpur.
